Amazing photos Will! Interesting photos 1 and 4. Is this in the Park? Didn’t know there were hills like that. Disgusting photo 2 showing all the floating trash/garbage :<( When is all this rain suppose to end?
Hi dana :having problems posting: technical incompetence: pic 1 is on the river just below where I live, 4 is the Empakasi Gorge below Masai Lodge.
Yes the Rains have really done a good clean up & swept so much urban gunk to the sea: hopefully it will disappear into sandbanks & so on en route…Rains are slowing down now up country but at the Coast have not started alas….
Great pictures showing the force of water. Not so nice to see all that plastic rubbish floating around
It was very interesting to visit Nairobi NP in Nov 2009 and Nov 2010. In 2009 it was in the middle of that horrible drought & in 2010 short rains were good and the park was all green, like an oasis in the middle of urban sprawl. Uncontrollable flooding isn’t nice, but it’s better than having to experience the tragedy of the 2009 drought.
Hey nice work. I have been to number 4 here are some pics of me there http://www.anon-ke.tumblr.com/tagged/national-park nice place.
I had issues posting, believe me its not technical incompetence.
I agree guys! The rain made me happy but seeing the plastic makes me so sad!
