Hi Sauwah. One of the defining characteristics of the park is that it always had permanent water .But this year things are getting tricky: many dams have dried up & only those in the east of the park have water…..even the Empakasi River (which forms the southern boundary) has dried up in the last few days as a water company was pumping out all the flow!!

thanks for the pictures and inf.. there must be a constant watering hole or holes in the park since wildebeest, water bucks and impala must have water daily.
